Alongside Jose Valle and Javier Moreno, Sharon is the co-founder and International Director of Animal Equality. In less than 8 years since it's foundation, Animal Equality has become a leading animal rights organization. The organization is working in 8 countries and has offices in 11 cities and a total of 31 employees. Animal Equality was ranked as a "top charity" in December 2014 and 2015 by Animal Charity Evaluators. Animal Charity Evaluators stated: "We find Animal Equality to be an exceptional organization, and are happy to recommend them as one of our top charities". Sharon has been interviewed about Animal Equality's work in international media and Animal Equality's campaigns and investigations have appeared on some of the most important media outlets in the world including the CNN, BBC, The Sunday Times, The Guardian or El País. Sharon is also the co-director of the book editorial named "LiberAnima". LiberAnima promotes equality and justice towards animals in Spanish speaking countries through a series of key book publications. Books selected to be published by Sharon and the other two collection's directors have sold thousands of copies in Mexico and Spain. Sharon has spoken about strategy and Animal Equality's work at several key events such as the International Animal Rights Conferences in Luxembourg in 2012, 2013, and 2015, the National Animal Rights Conferences in DC and LA in 2013, 2014, 2015 the Vegan Festival in London in 2010 and the International Congress Against Repression held in Madrid in 2012.
